when etsy shop owner elodie got in touch asking if i'd like to try one of her handmade twee-bags, i couldn't resist - after all the busyness of friday night and pavement-perching that was my saturday, it was lovely to finally sit down and relax on sunday morning with an adorable cup of twee! she'd sent over a packet of rooibos christmas tea with cute glitter cloud shaped packaging, and a packet of jasmine green tea in the shape of love hearts for review, and i couldn't wait to get into the delicate packets and get my glitter tea on!
each of the twee-bags is hand stiched with organic, chemical-free cotton, and no two are the same! elodie says that she got the idea one valentine's day when she was looking for a cute way to finish her table decorations. she couldn't find what she wanted anywhere, so inevitably ended up crafting them herself! so, in the spirit of the impending anniversary of her shop's birth, i want to give away a packet of the green tea jasmine twee-bags with the love heart bags - just in time for valentine's day!

ps. can we just take a moment to adore my new mugs as well? in a bid to create a better aesthetic in my kitchen (and impress my mum when she comes back on holidays later this year), i am throwing out all the miss-matched stoneware that came with us from our old flat, and replacing them with adult cup things. in the last month, my once poundland-forever collection of cuppery has been replaced with some great british names like cath kidston, joules and... wilkinsons.
the four-piece floral and stripe set from joules perfectly compliment the other pieces i already have, and contrast against the feminine and kitschy bits and bobs floating around my kitschen whole house.
thanks joules! you make me look like an adult with great taste!
