tonight is my work christmas party. well, one of. there are two, and tonight is the first; it's a company-wide one, where all the important people in digital media will be. so, no biggie. i dare hope i don't make a fool of myself in front of any of those people. but, if i do, at least i will be wearing chanel. i was so shocked to receive that special wee black and gold tube for my thirtieth, and have been saving it for a special occasion. today seems as good as any, right? the rest of this outfit, you've seen before (here and here). 

i'm not a fan of the old green and red tradition for christmas parties, but i think incorporating it through the accessories is just sneaky enough to work. plus, i'm going to go out on a limb and say that the chanel will be the thing that defines this outfit, don't you agree? yes, me too. pray for me.
