winter wonderland

in the christmas holiday, while lauren was still here, boyfriend and i took her to winter wonderland in hyde park. although none of us are particularly into rides - nor did we really have the money to be wasted on them, we had a ball just roaming the markets and alleys woven through the bavarian village in the centre of the fair. we sat and listened to an abba tribute act around a massive open fire, ate hot chips while watching the ice skating, and finished the night with nutella crepes. this is my second winter wonderland, and just as fun and pretty as i remember it. i couldn't imagine heading there in the day time - it's so beautiful when lit up, i just can't see the appeal otherwise! we love winter wonderland!
