ok so here's the short story: on friday i handed my notice in at work; i was buzzing and keen for a drink at ani's birthday drinks that night. at half four an email goes around saying that there are four pairs of corporate tickets to that day's british summer time gig at hyde park. that night's head liners: black sabbath. cue two lots of friends scoring tickets, and me bailing on my friend's birthday in lieu of black sabbath (i hope she understands), naturally. we arrived to faith no more debuting tunes from their new album. then watched soundgarden absolutely tear hyde park up. then. then we waited a bit. but then, then we watched black sabbath perform for an hour and a half. it was insane. ozzy just about remembered all the lyrics too.
